Leading on Opportunity is all in for education because too many of our children start kindergarten without the skills to succeed or ready by grade 3. The Opportunity Task Force Report identified access to early care and education as a barrier to economic opportunity, and will host a community conversation to help share:

• The impact of early childhood education on economic opportunity

• The effects of the lack of early childhood education on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community

• The role we can all play in charting a path forward

Please join the Leading on Opportunity Council and the Charlotte Business Journal on March 22 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. for a discussion with Charlotte community leaders on the impact and importance of early childhood education.
