PEARL Scholarships
$1,500 academic, character and financial need scholarships for graduating high school seniors and college undergraduates.

The nation's largest private scholarship provider to minority group members.

 

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. - Charlotte Alumnae Chapter

This scholarship is designed for undergraduate adult students, ages 25 or older, who are pursuing or continuing a degree program at a public, private or not-for-profit accredited four-year college/university within Mecklenburg County.

This scholarship is a minimum of $2,500.
Deadline: March 17th, 2025 by 11:59 PM ET.

TEACH

Provides educational scholarships to early care professionals and those who perform specialized functions in the early care system.

 

Crown Jewels (NC) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated

Scholarships designed to support high school seniors by providing financial assistance to help them achieve their academic and professional goals.

Scholarship offerings range from $500 to $20,000.
Deadline: February 28th by 11:59 PM ET.

For graduating Charlotte-Mecklenburg high school seniors, dedicated to public service.

 

 

MECK Pre-K Scholarship

Established to support students seeking initial Birth to Kindergarten teacher licensure through the B.A. in Child and Family Development.

 

Jaqueline F. and Robert F. Hull Scholarship for Teachers

Open to all Graduate Certificate in Teaching candidates who demonstrate financial need (FAFSA required), show a commitment to the teaching profession, and reside in NC.

This scholarship is for $1,000.
Deadline: April 1st, 2025

Hathcock-Humble Legacy Scholarship in Education

Open to a graduate student for the 2025-26 academic year. Recipients must be a legacy student as defined by the Alumni Association of UNC Charlotte.

This scholarship is for $2,500.

Jane and Rusty Goode Endowment for Educators

While both recognize the highest-achieving applicants, merit scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic, artistic, or athletic achievements, while need-based scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate financial need based on FAFSA.

Cato Scholarship for Education

Supports new first-year and transfer students who plan to pursue studies within the Cato College of Education. This is a renewable award. Recipients must demonstrate a commitment to strong work ethic through meaningful part-time work experience or a commitment to volunteering through meaningful community service.
